Hey!! I'm Emma, I'm a mezzo soprano originally from upstate New York but now live in Baltimore Maryland where I am a freelance musician and voice teacher. I earned my bachelors degree in Voice Performance from Butler University in 2023, spent the next three years in New York City where I performed and taught around the city before moving to Baltimore.
I am passionate about sharing my love for music and storytelling on stage as well as in a classroom. As a teacher, I strive to create a safe space for students to explore their voice and figure out who they are as an artist. In lessons we focus on building technique to maintain a healthy voice and working on repertoire that is fulfilling and engaging for students.
When I'm not performing you can find me reading fantasy books, baking pastries, or knitting! I am about to finish my first color work sweater and I cannot wait to wear it all the time!
